InfoAlameda County is a project of Urban Strategies Council: we are a non-profit organization in 1987, our mission is to eliminate persistent poverty by working with partners to transform low-income neighborhoods into vibrant, healthy communities.  We work locally and regionally to provide research, data and policy analysis, strategic planning, program development, capacity building and advocacy in service of low-income communities.

InfoAlamedaCounty is a Data Warehouse and Mapping Service that contains a variety of information for you in many different forms. In the Map Room you can get data from an interactive map of Alameda County and even create your own maps. The Map Room is based on Geographic Information Systems (GIS) technology. If you are new to GIS or to Internet mapping, the Map Room contains a tutorial to get started with the site. If this is your first visit to the Map Room, please watch our introduction video before starting.

If your questions are not answered by the data and maps available online in this portal or if you have more complex needs for mapping/GIS in your organization we provide a range of customized training services provide dby our experienced research team. We provide trainings and workshops in community mapping, enterprise GIS design, social mapping, spatial epidemiology and more ranging from a short hour overview to full week, hands-on learning experiences. Please contact our Director of Research & Technology for more details on these trainings.
